Paid my $20 to get inside the park and sipped a latte as another car pulled up into the trailhead parking lot. Two very serious looking people got out and started preparing for a hike. It turned out they were hiking up Mt. Dana. After a bit of hiking, I arrived at Bennetville, which consists now of two reconstructed buildings from the mining days. If you look really carefully across the way on the mountain behind some tall pine trees, there are some tailings from a mine there.
