How to navigate inside QuickTime VR scene: Hold down mouse button and drag in the scene to change your viewpoint. Zoom in by using the Shift key, zoom out with Ctrl key. In some browsers the left and right arrow keys are easier and faster for controlling your point of view in the scene.

After hiking up for awhile, the trail passes a wonderful overlook on a rocky outcrop and I stopped to capture this pano. The wind was fierce and I immediately put on all my layers. By the time I was done my hands were pretty cold and I could barely see from the wind-derived tears. I headed out not knowing if it was going to clear up or snow.
